The aim was to study what had already been written by others, and then further that research to gain answers to the, until now, unanswered questions concerning existance.
This included how the physical and mental affected the spiritual and vice versa.
 
It became more and more obvious as time progressed, that the spiritual was where the real underlying truths would be found! The physical only offered partial answers and left many questions still in mystery. This took an immense amount of study and spiritual research, that could only be done on an individual basis.
